Our wetsuit jackets are made from synthetic rubber neoprene. Initially, the jacket may feel too tight when tried on outside of the water, but once wet, it will fit perfectly. This is because when dry, the neoprene tends to stick to certain areas, but fills with water and becomes more flexible when wet.

Regarding the smell of neoprene, it is normal and not harmful. The scent will dissipate after a few washes. Before wearing the jacket, it is recommended to soak it in cold water, hand wash it, and air dry it to minimize any lingering smell.

For washing instructions, we suggest hand washing the wetsuit jacket in cold water with a gentle detergent. Squeeze out any excess water and allow it to drain and air dry.

If your skin is allergic to rubber, we advise removing the jacket immediately or wearing it over a t-shirt to avoid direct contact with the skin.
